Hope for 16 Plus offers a unique and holistic approach to accommodation provision for vulnerable young people, as not only do we provide stable and safe accommodation, the company is overseen by qualified social workers.

We will provide our young people with dedicated Key Workers who develop regular structured Key Work Sessions. They assist the young people to develop independence skills such as cooking, cleaning, sourcing college courses, employment, budgeting, access benefits, sourcing external health appointments, etc., so that they can manage and more importantly thrive living on your own.

WHAT WE OFFER

Our strategy incorporates a holistic approach drawing on a number of theories and models to engage effectively with young people. We offer the following in-house services:

  • Age Assessments
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy – sessions are offered to each young person to assist them in learning more about positive ways of perceptions, thoughts and interactions and changing behaviors.

  • Crisis Intervention Model – to address the special needs and concerns of the young person who is in a psychological crisis.

Our Aims and Objectives

Our aim is to provide a warm, safe and caring environment for young people who are leaving care, either from a residential placement or foster placement and require a transition into semi-independence where they can be supported and enabled to develop the required skills to ensure a fulfilled and managed transition into independence and to grow and develop into successful young adults.
